Lesson #2: Learn the basics

It is essential for any common man to learn and understand the market basics.A person must understand the basic economy of a country in order to become rich. For this it is strongly suggested that a person reads up on the market basics and watches some movies.

Firstly, read Business magazines like the Economist, Fortune, Forbes, Business Week, Business World etc.

Secondly, watch movies like Wall Street, Wall Street 2, Gafla,Capitalism: a Love story, The Pursuit Of Happyness, etc.

Thirdly, read up books on the market like Security Analysis, The Communist Manifesto, Wealth of Nations etc. to understand the base of the market.

Fourthly, read up books on present day market scenarios. Books such as Rich Dad Poor Dad etc.

Fifthly, read the Economic Times, Mint, Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business review etc.

Sixthly, Watch the Financial News daily. Watch channels like CNBC TV 18, ET NOW, BLOOMBERG etc.

Finally, Read up on the lives of great men. Those who inspire you. Eg: Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Dhirubhai Ambani, Ratan tata, Anand Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Harshad Mehta, Ketan Parekh,etc

Lesson #1 : Get Educated

The most important thing in today's day and age is to get an education. While an education will not do you much. It will help you develop the most important thing needed to get rich i.e. develop people's skills. It will help you interact with people and teach you how to convince people.Years on this same communication skill would help you to convince people to invest money in you.

It does not matter whether you get an education or not. Some of the greatest minds and business people were never educated. Albert Einstein never got educated. But this didn't deter him from printing papers on topics which till today are a mystery to the common man.

Getting an education will help you to understand the functioning of the world a lot better. It is recommended that you study Economics in your high school and college levels. A study shows that people who study economics at any point in their life are likely to get more rich than those who study the Arts or Science. You can obviously choose to study Economics with Science or the Arts.

Perhaps the most important thing about getting an education is that it would eventually help you get a job which would in turn help you raise capital for your business interests or for yourself. An education can teach you all the theory you need to survive in this world.

And while I strongly suggest you get a college education and do your masters it wouldn't make much of a difference even if you chose not to do either provided that you have the brains and patience to earn money.

Though innumerable people will give you advice it is only good advice that would actually make you rich. Remember that the lottery can make you rich but you must put the effort and buy a lottery ticket. Anyone can become rich and it is essential that you understand this.
